Alexander won the Warsaw Cup with a new Swedish record in both in his free program with 150,07 points and also in all with 228,97 points. He landed his quad in both programs. A great competition for Alexander who had an unlucky start of the season but now it looks like the the wind has turned.
Just a week later Alexander competed again at the NRW Trophy. This time he won the short program with 83,43 points, even better than the week before in Warsaw and just 0,4 from his PB set at the Olympic Games but it doesn’t count as a PB since the NRW Trophy is a senior B competition. He won the competition with 228,84 points.
Alexander had this to say;
I’m very happy about the short program. I think I even got level 4 in both step and spins in the short program. In the free program it felt a little shacky but I’m happy with the results.
Next week is Swedish Nationals at Malmö Arena in Malmö from December 15-18.
