Once again, and not surprising, Alexander is the Swedish Figure Skating Champion. He won with 235.07 points.
This year the Swedish nationals took place in Skellefteå in Northern Sweden, only a 1,5 hour drive from Alexander’s hometown Luleå.
In the short program Alexander tripled the planned quad, but the quad was landed nicely in the free program. Just about everything worked out in the free; all the jumps were landed perfectly except for the flip which was doubled. The step sequence was rewarded with +GOE and so was the choreographic sequence. The free program had a very nice flow, and hopefully this will be repeated at Europeans in Moscow in January.
